Gran Turismo Sport – What We Know

Following the trials and tribulations of Gran Turismo 6, Polyphony have been hard at work with not only improving their flagship but also to bring a new game, in the form of a demo, to the next generation of PlayStation. Gran Turismo Sport is that game.

Heres what we know so far:

1. The graphics and sounds will be a massive improvement, using the power of the PlayStation 4 to give you the most realistic driving experience to ever grace consoles.
2. Real motorsport disciplines with the introduction of the FIA Championship. This is where the real challenge starts, with a chance to be crowned the virtual FIA Champion.
3. Worried about not being able to play? Don’t worry the games competitive modes will cater for all ages meaning you never have to feel left out.
4. There will be two online events running simultaneously: The Nations Cup where players will be able to represent their countries and The Manufacturers Cup where players can race with their favourite manufacturers cars. There are also spectators who will root for you in both events.

That just about rounds up what we know about Gran Turismo Sport.

The game will release exclusively on the PS4 and will have an open beta this year but in the mean time check out the announcement trailer below.

This will be updated when further information is released, let us know what you think in the comments section.
