Xbox Game Pass Rolling Out

Today the Xbox team announced a new subscription service, the Xbox Game Pass, which will be rolling our to selected members of the Insider Program from 6am PST. The program will release to the broader public this spring and will allow unlimited access to over 100 Xbox One and Xbox 360 backwards compatible titles.

Among others, users will be able to enjoy Halo 5, Saints Row IV, Fable III and Tekken Tag 2 when the full feature launches to the Xbox Public.

With Game Pass you’ll be able to download titles straight to your Xbox One, meaning continuous gameplay with no worries about streaming or bandwidth and in addition all games in the catalog (and related add-ons) will be able to be permanently purchased at an exclusive discount.

We’re told the Game pass will cost just $9.99 per month, but no other prices have been confirmed as yet. With great publishers such as 2k, Bandai Namco and THQ Nordic involved already, we’re excited to see where the Xbox Game Pass can lead, and we’ll bring you more information as and when we can
