Evercade, creators of the brand new retro-gaming handheld console, have announced a new cartridge dedicated to Atari Lynx classics. The new cartridge contains 8 officially licensed titles, playable in handheld mode, or through HDMI connection to TV.
When it releases, the new cartridge will bring the total to 11 available for the console. The current collection of 10 cartridges will be available from launch, and include content from Atari, Namco and more. All in all with the 8 new Lynx focused additions, the console will now have a roster of over 145 officially licensed retro games. The Atari Lynx 2 Cartridge will be available from Q3 2020 and contains 8 classic titles;
Evercade is a brand new console, which uses its own retro inspired game cartridges, releasing on May 22nd. Providing a super simple gaming experience, the console contains a 4.3″ screen, the same size as a PSP. In addition, it contains video output through HDMI, letting you enjoy retro gaming at home out on the move.
The creators have confirmed another cartridge is already in the works. In addition, they plan to launch 3 to 5 cartridges this year, to compliment the 10 which will be available at launch.
